Our program is a 3-year ACGME accredited community program located in Yonkers, NY, just outside New York City. We graduated our inaugural class in 2020. Our small program size of just 10 residents per year allows us to provide individualized attention and mentorship to all of our residents.
We are fortunate to have an extremely dedicated, experienced, and energetic faculty who trained at top-notch residencies all over the country. Our faculty includes three fellowship trained ultrasonographers, a toxicologist and a Pediatric Emergency Physician. With high volume patient encounters, innovative education styles, and an enthusiastic teaching faculty, we provide a premier learning experience for our EM residents.
We provide our residents with diverse clinical experiences that incorporate the entire spectrum of Emergency Medicine. Our residents rotate through our busy community ED, through our small 5 bed community ED, and through level 1 trauma centers at Jacobi and Elmhurst. This experience in 5 very different EDs leaves our residents prepared to excel in any practice environment.
