Community in Action

Meera Mehta “Born to Read” Book Donation
2025 Annual Toy Drive
2026 BHS Annual Coat Drive

Our St. John’s Coat Drive was a great success. With this winter’s harsh weather, our Behavioral Health Services patients need warm coats more than ever. Director of the CRC Dr. Taiesha Wooten and the BHS team will distribute the coats to those in need.

Thank you to everyone who donated and supported this effort. Together, we are #CommunitySTRONG!

We received a generous donation of 200 books from author Meera Mehta — A Year of Magical Months and A Magical World of Emotions. The books will be gifted to babies born at St. John’s through the “Born to Read” program.

Thanks to our staff and community friends, we also sent toys, apparel, and crafts to children at Elizabeth Seton.

Community Health Needs

As your community hospital, we monitor the health challenges affecting our neighbors — from chronic and infectious diseases to aging populations and barriers to care.

Each year, we create a Community Health Needs Assessment and Service Plan to guide our programs, education, technology, and outreach.
