St. John’s is the first hospital in Westchester County to join TeamBirth, a new maternity program that improves care through team huddles during the birthing process involving patients, physicians, caregivers, and staff to discuss birth plans and any desires or expectations of the person giving birth. The event was hosted by CNO Herta Muller and featured speakers included Ken Jenkins, Andrea Stewart-Cousins, Jewel Williams Johnson, Shanae Williams, Abagael Slattery-Kumar, Cheryl Brannan, and Dr. Suzanne Greenidge, along with community partners and hospital staff.
