St. John’s Riverside Hospital’s Behavioral Health Services department has been a leader in chemical dependency treatment since 1967 and operates one of the largest and most comprehensive treatment systems in New York State. We offer a full continuum of hospital-based inpatient through community-based outpatient services.
Our 72-bed Medically Managed/Supervised Withdrawal and Stabilization Services (Detox) provides physician-supervised treatment and compassionate care for those experiencing withdrawal from drugs and alcohol. Our multidisciplinary treatment team helps each patient to safely address their substance use and learn skills to maintain recovery through group and individual counseling, 12 Step perspectives, psychiatric evaluation, and goal-centered discharge planning.
