Our Dobbs Ferry Pavilion lobby was renamed in honor of Madeline Bizzarri’s name, a dedicated volunteer at the hospital who left a major gift to the Dobbs Ferry Pavilion when she passed away in 2020. Madeline began volunteering in 2000 and was honored at our annual volunteer dinner in 2010 with a total of 1576 hours of service. She loved the hospital and her responsibilities helping to manage the “Coffee/Gift Shop”, which was run solely by the volunteers at the time.

Madeline’s family traveled from all over the country to attend the ceremony and see the updates we made to various parts of the hospital because of her gift. We were thrilled to unveil the plaque hung in the lobby to recognize her generosity and honor her memory.
