The Cancer Support Group of St. John's Riverside Hospital will meet on the third Wednesday of the month, May 19th, from 7 to 8:30 pm in the garden room of St. John's, 967 North Broadway in Yonkers.
The meeting is open to all interested cancer patients, their families and friends free of charge. Free parking and refreshments are available.
The purpose of the group is to provide education and support for cancer patients and their families and to help them cope with cancer and its impact on their lives.
Meetings offer an opportunity to share common concerns and learn about cancer, its treatment, community resources and more through lectures, films, literature and group discussions.
