Avon Mammography Suite

St. John's Riverside Hospital has always been committed to serving the needs of women in our community. Consequently, it expanded its mammography services by opening its Avon Foundation Mammography Suite. Over the last 18 years, Avon philanthropy has raised and donated more than $700 million to breast cancer programs around the world, supporting cutting-edge research to find a cure for or prevent breast cancer as well as programs that enable all patients to access quality care.

Funding supports awareness and education: screening and diagnosis; access to treatment; support services; and scientific research. St. John's Riverside Hospital is a proud beneficiary of the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade in their quest for cancer research,, treatment, and breast health education programs. The Center is equipped with two state-of the art digital mammography units each in its own private, comfortably decorated room. There is also a specific area specially designed for Stereotactic/Abbi Breast Biopsies.

Our female mammography technologists are licensed and Mammography Certified professionals make the process pleasant and easy.
