St. John’s Riverside Hospital is proud to partner with Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM). Our collaborative program provides LECOM medical, pharmacy and graduate students with an outstanding community-based clinical learning experience.
The partnership, now in its 10th year, provides invaluable, multidisciplinary clinical instruction to over 60 students each year, allowing them to live, learn and ultimately work in our community.

Our collaboration strengthens our network of care, ensuring our clinical instructors are of the highest caliber, helping to solidify St. John’s position as a leader in local and regional healthcare.
Medical school graduates often continue their post-graduate training and establish residency in the geographic area they trained. St. John’s Riverside offers a two established and sought after residency programs. Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine residencies are available to medical students post-graduation.
